This team of professionals are incredible at what they do. Thank you to all of our DISPATCHERS!

April marks a significant month for safety awareness as we observe National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The Springdale Fire Department is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, which extends beyond responding to emergencies – it's about proactive prevention and education.
Distracted driving is a serious issue that affects countless lives each year. Whether it's texting, eating, adjusting the radio, or any other form of distraction, the consequences can be devastating for drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and emergency responders alike. As firefighters, we witness the tragic outcomes of distracted driving far too often, and we're dedicated to doing everything in our power to prevent such incidents from occurring.
During this month of awareness, we urge all members of the community to join us in taking a stand against distracted driving.

Both fires are under investigation.

This morning, two of our members, Paramedic Preston Murphy and Firefighter/EMT Josh Carpenter, were recognized with the Living the Mission Award from Northwest Medical Center. Although these types of transfers are not typical for us, this is one that needed to occur. These two members were assigned the task and safely delivered the patient and family to The Children's Hospital at St. Francis.
