Thank you to IRWP for leading a volunteering event this past Saturday where we planted thousands of native plants in a pilot project retrofitting an existing detention pond. This project will be the first in the region to establish a managed natural landscape in a detention pond that will reduce maintenance costs and improve water quality! There will be an additional planting event next Thursday, 9/18, from 9am-11am. Please reach out to them if you are interested in helping.
