
LANE CLOSURE NOTICE: Expect delays on I-49, at the West Emma Avenue bridge, from 11pm to 5am the next few nights. Night work under the West Emma Avenue bridge will have and traffic closed down to one lane, north and southbound, until Friday, pending delays. Expect 15 minute delays, periodically, for full traffic shutdowns at times during this time frame.


Certain streets in Downtown Springdale will be close Wednesday April 16th for CRT Races.
Emma Ave from Holcomb St. to Spring St will be closed from noon to 10:30 PM
All other street will be closed from 3 pm to 9 pm

Sharon Tromburg began her career with the City of Springdale in 2020 as a Planning Technician and sheās had the opportunity to grow through roles such as Planner II, Senior Planner, and Assistant Director. A Springdale native passionate about thoughtful growth and development, sheās committed to the community. On April 1, 2025, Sharon was named Director of Planning and Community Development.
We are so excited for Sharon. She will do a fantastic job in this new role.

The annual Hogeye Marathon through Springdale will be held this Saturday, April 12th. Downtown road closures on Emma from Shiloh to Commercial will begin at 5am. All other roads will be closed starting at 6am. Each road or lane will be closed until the last runner has passed the area. Volunteers, police officers, and public works employees will be along the route all day to assist with traffic. Please exercise caution this Saturday and expect delays. ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE UPDATE: Casteel Lane from Emma to Faith Freewill Baptist Church will now be closed through April 7 due to weather delays

Please be advised of an upcoming lane closure on Hwy 265 near the Electric Ave intersection. The northbound lane on the right side will be closed between April 9-11 for installation of a new traffic signal.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Casteel Lane from Emma to Faith Freewill Baptist Church will be closed April 2nd - April 4th. Any closure updates pending weather will be made as soon as possible.


John Brown University is partnering with FlyARH at the Springdale Municipal Airport to bring our community a Professional Flight Program! The launch announcement and open house will be Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 3pm - 4pm. We look forward to seeing our Springdale community there!
