NOTICE: There will be a short detour on Spring Creek Trail near the Silent Grove Road underpass this week as crews work to repair a section of the trail surface. The work is expected to begin Wednesday, December 11th, weather permitting. An alternate route will be in place. Repairs are anticipated to be complete in three days, barring any delays.
We are officially 20 days away from Christmas! In observance of the Christmas holiday, City Offices will be closed Monday, December 23rd, 2024 - Wednesday, December 25th, 2024.
We will resume regular business hours on Thursday, December 26th at 8:00 a.m.

Road Closure: Johnson Ave from N Main to Spring St along with a portion of Mill St will be closed Saturday 11/30/24 from Noon to 9pm for Christmas on the Creek.
Road Closure: Emma Ave from Upton Ln to N Thompson and Old Missouri from Huntsville Ave to Ford Ave will be closed Saturday 11/30/2024 for the Rodeo of the Ozarks Christmas Parade. Roads will be closed from 5:45pm to 7pm or the end of the parade. Please see closure maps for more information.

ROAD CLOSURE: Puppy Creek Rd will be closed from spring Creek Rd to Willard Ln starting Tuesday 12/03 @ 7am through Tuesday 12/17 for pipe installation under the road. Please see attached map showing the detour route for traffic.

CLOSURE NOTICE-
City offices will be closed today, November 11, 2024 in observance of Veterans Day. We will resume regular business hours Tuesday, November 12 at 8:00 a.m.
Lane Closure Notice: Southbound Gutensohn Rd from Huntsville to Emma will be closed sporadically Tuesday November 12th - Thursday November 14th for driveway and curb improvements to Central Jr High Entrance. Flaggers will be on scene to help direct SB traffic into the middle turn lane. Thank you for your patience at this time.
Road Closure Update: Shady Grove Road is now open to all traffic! Railroad improvements and road repairs have been completed.
I-49 LANE CLOSURE:
Night work on I-49 will begin November 10 and last until November 15. Please expect one lane traffic and temporary 15 minute full lane closures of the southbound or the northbound lanes in the vicinity of the new West Emma Avenue bridge, just south of the Elm Springs Road exit from 11pm - 5am. Detour routes shown in image below.

This weekend, November 8th-10th Sam's Furniture will be holding a free mattress recycling event! Each household can bring one mattress set to Sam's furniture in Springdale or Siloam Springs to be disposed of and receive a coupon of up to $1,000 towards the purchase of a new mattress at Sam's furniture.
City departments had a pumpkin decorating contest that they could enter if they chose.
