ROAD CLOSURE: Park St will be closed between Emma and Meadow Monday, Sept 30 through Thursday, Oct 3 from 7am to 5pm each day for drainage work. Please see attached detour route. Thank you for your patience.
Road Closures: Certain streets of Downtown Springdale will be closed Thursday September 26th from 5:15pm to 8pm for the Springdale High School Homecoming Parade.

ROAD CLOSURE: Downum Rd will be closed during work hours of 7am to 5pm from Sept 24 until October 1. Sewer, water and storm drain lines need to be ran.

Attention Springdale Residents!
The Arkansas National Guard will be conducting routine flight operations in the Springdale area during the week of September 16, 2024. These operations are part of our regular training and are no cause for alarm. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to keep our community safe.

Thank you to IRWP for leading a volunteering event this past Saturday where we planted thousands of native plants in a pilot project retrofitting an existing detention pond. This project will be the first in the region to establish a managed natural landscape in a detention pond that will reduce maintenance costs and improve water quality!
There will be an additional planting event next Thursday, 9/18, from 9am-11am. Please reach out to them if you are interested in helping.

Road Closure Update:
Kendrick Avenue will remain closed, for local traffic only, during paving operations beginning Wednesday 08/28/2024- 09/14/2024 or until completed and weather permitting. Expect delays for one lane being closed and flaggers directing traffic.
ROAD CLOSURE: Park St will be closed daily to through traffic from 7am to 5pm, Monday-Friday beginning Tuesday, August 20 until Friday, August 30. This is to make sewer and water connections for the Big Emma project.
ROAD CLOSURE: Apple Rd will be fully closed from August 19 through November 15 for road work. Please see attached detour map.

Springdale Water Utilities has contracted with Trekk Design Group, LLC to perform smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system within certain areas. The work is planned to begin on August 12th, 2024 and end on August 23rd, 2024. The work to be performed will move fairly quickly and will utilize a moving work zone with traffic control systems that meet all City of Springdale requirements. Please be advised that the provided dates are dependent on weather and are subject to change.
The purpose of smoke testing is to locate sources of sewer odors, leaks, and breaks in sewer lines. The type of smoke used is harmless, white in color, and may have a slight odor. The area of work is shown in the Sanitary Sewer Smoke Testing Location Map attached. Notification letters have been mailed to the affected property owners with contact information if they have any questions or concerns.
The hours of operation will be from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Springdale Water Utilities personnel will be on site with Trekk Design Group, LLC.
