*PLEASE NOTE- The Compassion Center in Springdale may most likely close early today, December 22, due to extreme weather conditions. They recommend getting there as early as possible.

Due to the extreme cold weather emergency, the City of Springdale will have vouchers available to those in need of shelter. We are partnering with Compassion NWA to provide vouchers to participating hotels and motels. PLEASE NOTE: Vouchers will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attached is the list of hotels in Springdale who are participating in the voucher program for this specific weather event.

The Compassion Center will also be giving away other major necessities at no cost - Items such as coats, socks, gloves, blankets, etc. There will also be other accommodations available through local churches and non profits such as the Salvation Army. Compassion NWA is located at 3157 Sunset Ave. in Springdale. They are open from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Our local patrol officers will also have vouchers available in the evening for emergency situations.
