Today, friends, family, and co-workers, both current and former, gathered to celebrate the career of Police Chief Frank Gamble. For nearly 27 years, Chief Gamble served the community he called home.

With a protecting and serving mentality, Chief Gamble valiantly served our Country in the U.S. Army starting in 1989, when he was assigned to the First Calvary Division in Fort Hood, Texas. Chief Gamble served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After completing his military tours, he attended and graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, which continued to form his leadership style and how he approached his officers and the citizens he served.

In August of 1998, Chief Gamble began his calling in Law Enforcement at the Springdale Police Department. He is blessed to have been able to serve the citizens and the visitors of Springdale as a Patrolman and Detective. Chief Gamble continued his legendary career, promoting through the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, and ultimately Chief of Police. During his time, he not only led by example in the department but also his unwavering faith in God and devotion to his wife, Tammy, to whom he has been married for 32 years and rearing three children, is a testament to many. His professional drive influenced his own officers and had lasting impacts on other agencies and officers.

We congratulate you, Chief Gamble, on your career and wish you a happy retirement!
