Last evening, we had the privilege of celebrating a special milestone at our Fall Pinning Ceremony. We welcomed new firefighters being officially sworn in.
These ceremonies are more than tradition—they're a testament to the commitment, courage, and leadership that define our department. The badges placed on each uniform represent not just rank, but the trust our community places in these men and women every day. To our newly sworn-in firefighters, welcome to the family.
Thank you to all the families, friends, and community members who joined us to celebrate this night of honor and achievement.

Yesterday, firefighters from Station 6 and Station 7 had the incredible opportunity to team up with Har-Ber High School’s Performing Arts Program (Troupe 7262)!
We brought out our extrication tools and turned a standard passenger vehicle into a "convertible" — now ready to hit the stage as a prop in their upcoming production of Marcus is Walking.
While we always enjoy demonstrating our equipment and skills, we’re even more excited to see these talented students bring their performance to life. Break a leg, Troupe 7262 — we’ll be cheering you on!

Today, our probationary firefighters took on the Nance Drill — a critical training scenario that simulates rescuing a downed firefighter who has fallen through a floor.
Crews practiced multiple hoseline-based techniques to safely remove the victim, sharpening both their skills and their confidence under pressure.
A strong day of training, and invaluable experience gained!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us during the services for our fallen Brother, Tony Spero, this past Saturday.
A special thank you goes to our neighboring departments—Fayetteville, Lowell, Goshen, Rogers, Bentonville, Bella Vista, Siloam Springs, Hickory Creek, Central EMS, and Pafford EMS—for stepping up and ensuring our response coverage so that our department could attend the services together as a family.
We are also incredibly thankful to the Springdale Senior Center for hosting lunch for our crews, the Washington County Sheriff's Department for preparing the meal, and Tyson Foods for their generous food donation. Thank you to The Apollo on Emma for opening your doors to host lunch for Tony's family, and to Cross Church for graciously allowing us to use your facility for the service.
A heartfelt thanks as well to Hurts Donuts for organizing a fundraiser, and to the many individuals and community members who reached out, contributed, or reminded us that we are not alone.
Your kindness and support during this difficult time mean more than words can express. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

Your presence, respect, and support meant more than words can express. It was a powerful reminder of the strength and unity within the first responder community.
Here are a few photos from along the way, capturing just a glimpse of the honor and brotherhood shown to one of our own.

This past week, four members of our department had the incredible opportunity to serve as counselors at Camp Sunshine in Little Rock.
Camp Sunshine is a free, four-day residential camp designed for pediatric burn survivors. Entirely funded by the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters and organized in partnership with Arkansas Children's Hospital, this camp provides a safe, supportive, and fun-filled environment for some truly inspiring kids.
Hunter Collins, Justin Pinkley, Brianna Harder, and Clayton Wormington represented us with pride, spending their week alongside a remarkable group of children and fellow firefighters from across the state.
The Springdale Firefighters Association Local 3007 is proud to support this life-changing camp and looks forward to continuing our involvement in the years to come!
