Events and Permits

In accordance with City Ordinance 110-176, no parade, picket line or group demonstration shall be permitted on the sidewalks, streets, and parks or other public places of the city unless a permit therefore has been issued by the city. This includes runs or other events, especially those involving a city road closure, which require additional approval from Public Works.

The Chief of Police or his designee shall have the authority to issue permits as required by ordinance. All applications shall be filed during normal business hours, not less than 72 hours in advance of the event. The applicant shall state the proposed place, time, purposes and size of the proposed event and whether any minors below the age of 18 will participate.

Any event taking place in the Downtown Springdale area defined as Shiloh Square, Turnbow Park and adjacent streets, MUST receive approval from the Downtown Springdale Alliance IN ADDITION TO submitting an event application to the City of Springdale.

All other event locations, need only submit the City of Springdale Event Application listed below.
