Notice of Emergency Utility Work with Road Closure:
 

Pump Station Road between Stultz Lane and Silent Grove Road, Springdale, AR.- Springdale Water Utilities (SWU) personnel are on-site performing emergency repairs to both a ruptured water main and Pump Station Road. The rupture occurred early this morning under the driving surface of the road, making it necessary to close that portion of the road, in order to perform the necessary repairs. We expect both repairs to be completed no later than 5:00 p.m. today.
 

Temporary repair of the road will be performed until permanent asphalt paving is completed. Until such time as the final paving is completed by Springdale Public Works, the road will have compacted gravel installed with traffic devices and signs warning commuters of the temporary repair. Commuters should exercise caution by reducing their speed in this area.
