Road and Lane Closures

Posted on: August 2, 2019

[ARCHIVED] Downtown Sewer Project Moves to Night Work

Beginning on Monday, August 5, the contractor will begin installing pipe in the southern most lane of Maple Avenue, beginning just west of Deaver heading west towards Hwy 71B. The intersection of Maple/Deaver will be back open to traffic.  Work on the first part of this phase will be done during daytime hours (8am to 5pm) but when the contractor reaches the driveway to Jim’s Razorback Pizza, work from there to 71B will be done at night (10pm to 6am). This work will require a complete closure of Hwy 71B at the Maple intersection. This work will be done at night (10pm to 6am), and all traffic lanes will be open during daytime hours (6am to 10pm).  This work is expected to last through 8/16.
