In a recent study from WalletHub, the City of Springdale was ranked as the 35th most diverse city in the nation for 2016. It ranked number 18 among small cities, which are cities with populations below 100,000. Springdale has more than 75,000 residents.
"Springdale's diversity is one of the reasons this city so special," said Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse. "This is truly a city that welcomes everyone, and we benefit greatly from the variety of voices we have in our community."
The determination was based on an analysis of four categories: social class diversity, ethno-racial diversity, economic diversity and household diversity. WalletHub previously ranked Springdale as one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S.
