City requests resident feedback on proposal to widen and extend Don Tyson Parkway

DTP Extension Project - Prelim Design

Springdale City Council passed a resolution on Jan. 10, 2017 authorizing the City to enter into an engineering design contract with Springdale-based firm ESI. The contract is for the design of the Don Tyson Parkway extension from S. 56th St. (renamed Gene George Blvd.) to Highway 112 as a part of the regional transportation plan. ESI is currently completing the environmental studies for this project.

We would like your feedback on the proposed route. If you would like hard copies of the proposed design and feedback form, you can pick them up from the Mayor’s Office at 201 Spring St. Can you also view the proposed design online, and download the feedback form. The cutoff to submit feedback for consideration is July 21, 2017. The final design is scheduled to be completed by early 2018.
