POSTPONED - Dean's Trail Groundbreaking

Due to inclement weather, the groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for Dean's Trail this afternoon has been postponed. A notice will be sent out once a new date and time has been selected.

You're invited to join us for a groundbreaking for Dean's Trail! Once Dean's Trail is completed, it will be a five-mile lighted trail/alternative transportation route along the east side of Springdale beginning at the Jones Center. It will connect the Shiloh Trail to Lake Fayetteville, and it will end at a connection to the Fayetteville trail system. This groundbreaking ceremony kicks off construction phase one of three.


What: Dean's Trail Groundbreaking Ceremony

Where: Parsons Stadium, Home of the Rodeo of the Ozarks, 1423 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale. The groundbreaking will take place on the stadium grounds on the east side of Highway 265, on the southeast corner of the grounds, between the arena and Spring Creek.

When: 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 16.

Who: Mayor Sprouse, City staff, representatives from Garver Engineering, Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., Springdale Chamber of Commerce, City Council, and the Springdale Trails Committee.
