Municipal Airport Commission
The Springdale Municipal Airport Commission was established in 1997 to manage all activities, facilities, and properties related to the Springdale Municipal Airport (ASG). The airport is owned by the City of Springdale, and it sits on 221 acres with one runway.
The Commission has seven members who must be qualified electors of Arkansas. One member has to be experienced in aviation and hold a pilot aeronautical rating. The members are appointed by the Mayor and have to be confirmed by City Council. Members serve five-year terms.
